An old injury is creeping up on me.
Illiotibial band syndrome. Cause: too many miles.
Went to my sports medicine doctor/chiropractor and had my leg worked on.
Was told to lay off the running until Saturday. The net loss is one day of training.
Hopefully we've caught this early. Best cast scenario is I cut down the running to 3-4 miles every other day and give up the track workouts. Worst case is I have to take a week or two off for therapy. This is a muscle issue so it can be worked out with deep tissue therapy (not fun).
Here's hoping for a good run on Saturday.
