A blog about my training for the 2009 Chevron Houston Marathon. Running to honor the memory of my uncle, A.C. "Buck" Buchanan, to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Training Log - Week 11 of 28 - Saturday

Ended up resting today.

Our long run was optional. Couple of lingering problems from Hurricane Ike.

Curfew meant that we couldn't get out on the road very early.

Many streetlights not working made for dangerous conditions.

We are actually a week ahead of last year's schedule so no great harm.
