Training Log - Week 8 of 28 - Thursday

All week I have not been able to bring myself to run outside. On the way home from work I was sweating like a pig even though I had the A/C on full. It's just too damn hot.

3 mile tempo run indoors.

A tempo run consists of a period of slow running then a faster than normal pace followed by a period of cooling down. A ran each of the three miles at a different pace.

Slow run = 11 minute mile
Fast run = 9 minute mile
Recovery run = 10 minute mile

Friday is a rest day.

Long run on Saturday.
